What line screen
would you recommend for fancy paper?
In general, for uncoated paper, the recommended is 150 dots
per inch (dpi). However, depending on the texture and absorbency
of the paper, some papers may take up to 175 dpi e.g. Econ,
Primera, Natural. |
| |
How can I ensure the
images will turn out sharp?
Coated paper is recommended as the coating allows ink to "float"
on the paper. For uncoated fancy paper, clarity will depend
on the absorbency of the paper. In general, the smoother the
surface, the better the print result. |
| |
Can fancy paper be
embossed, hot stamped, laminated, die cut, UV varnished?
The above are applicable to all our papers. To ensure satisfaction,
printed samples are available for viewing. Free paper samples
are also available for testing and mock-up purposes. Note: Spot
machine varnish to achieve glossy effect will not work on uncoated
paper but it is useful for protection i.e. scratching, set-off.
UV varnish is the next possible alternative. |
